MTV has appointed Jessica Kam as vice-president of network
communications. She replaces Sharon Tan Poh Choo, who left the music
channel to pursue other opportunities. Kam, who has been with MTV since
1999, was most previously director of communications. Prior to that, she
was the regional marketing manager of Dow Jones for almost two years.
