Clay Chandler, formerly of The Washington Post, has been appointed Asia editor for Fortune magazine. Chandler will be based in Hong Kong and will be the title's chief Asia correspondent. He has held a number of editorial positions at The Washington Post, including Asian economic correspondent and Hong Kong bureau chief. He also opened the Post's bureau in Shanghai in 2000, and earlier was its chief economic correspondent in Washington.
