MOVERS: Appointment at BBC World

BBC World has appointed Seema Kotecha as head of marketing. Based at the company headquarters in London and working with director of marketing, Jane Gorard, Kotecha is responsible for developing the marketing strategy for the channel and managing the international team, which is based in London, Singapore and New Delhi. Prior to joining BBC, Kotecha worked as marketing controller at BSkyB in London and Virgin Atlantic Airways, where she held the post of marketing communications manager.
