Miroma Group agency and in-housing partner Maker Lab, has appointed Intan Mokhnar as chief executive officer. The appointment follows her three-year tenure as managing director during which time Maker Lab has secured key new business wins while expanding its existing portfolio. Matt Shoult, Maker Lab’s founder and former CEO, has been elevated to the role of executive chairman, focusing on long-term strategic direction.
Thomas Yang, DDB Singapore's long time creative leader has announced his departure on LinkedIn, signalling a new move to Publicis Groupe's creative agency Leo. Yang has been a creative director and head of art and design at DDB Singapore for more than 16 years, including the last five-plus years as ECD. Prior to this, Yang held roles at JWT, M&C Saatchi, 10AM and Lowe Lintas.
Dentsu has elevated Surjo Dutt to chief executive officer of Dentsu Creative Webchutney, adding the role to his existing position as chief creative officer. He will continue to report to Amit Wadhwa, CEO South, Dentsu Creative and Media Brands. In his expanded role, Dutt will be responsible for driving the agency's next phase of creative and commercial growth - deepening client partnerships, nurturing talent and future-proofing the agency's creative product in an increasingly AI-augmented landscape. Angus Ross has returned to Australia's Southern Cross Media Group in the new role of managing director, television and streaming, reporting to Southern Cross Austereo CEO Rohan Lund. Ross spent more than 25 years at TV network Seven in key content and management roles and will now be responsible for all television and streaming content teams, covering news, sport and entertainment across Seven and 7plus.
Production company MC&V has secured two new Australian brand client wins, Canva and Canteen, built on previous partnerships. Positioning itself as an AI-native production company built around workflow design, creative direction and production systems, MC&V has expanded its creative roster, signing AI directors, Jodie Heenan, Josef “Seppi” Scholler and Jagger Waters.
