Motorola China taps Chou for music downloads

Motorola is aiming to own the music download space in China with a fresh new campaign for its Motomusic service featuring pop star Jay Chou. <BR><BR> The phased campaign - part of the handset manufacturer's ambitious drive to expand its service and song offerings for motomusic.com.cn - revolves around a dedicated minisite featuring Chou that allows consumers to download exclusive tracks from his new album, Still Fantasy, and access interviews revealing the star's private life, his approach to music, creativity and life in general. <BR><BR> The campaign includes banners on popular online properties like Baidu, eDM supers on Channel V and MTV, and viral videos on Jay's fanblogs, toodou.com and youtube.com, to drive people to the site, which was developed in conjunction with interactive product house, North Kingdom.
