Motorola calls creative review in Asia

Motorola is set to review the creative brief for its high-growth markets, valued at approximately US$50 million, pitting incumbent agency Ogilvy & Mather against BBDO in a mid-March pitch. <BR><BR> The review follows BBDO's win of Motorola's UK business from global incumbent Ogilvy in late 2005, and a current review of the European account that also involves the same two agencies. Motorola's high-growth markets include India, Southeast Asia, Africa and the Middle East. "Ogilvy is under pressure everywhere they hold the business," said a WPP source. Motorola declined to comment.
