Motorola brings free Gorillaz downloads to Singapore youth target
<P>Motorola has unveiled an interactive bus stop poster, which allows consumers to download a ringtone via Bluetooth technology. The poster is located outside a busy Singapore shopping mall, and offers a song from virtual pop group Gorillaz titled Dare to the first 200 Motorola mobile phone users daily. Compatible phones include the Rokr, Pebl, Razr and Slvr. <BR><br><br><BR>Consumers must first activate the Bluetooth option on their handsets, then accept the file after receiving a prompt. <BR>"It is important for us to reach out to our target consumers in new and creative ways, to understand them and, at the same time, to give the audience a better chance to identify and interact with the Motorola brand," says Frances Chong, marketing manager, mobile devices, Motorola Singapore.</P> <P><br><br><BR>Chong describes the Gorillaz bus stop poster as a good way to further strengthen Motorola's association with music and multimedia entertainment for youth since the brand's positioning is to be at the forefront of music, style, design and cutting edge technology. <BR></P>
