Monster.com calls creative pitch for ChinaHR domain

BEIJING - Monster.com has invited advertising agencies to pitch for the creative business of its ChinaHR.com domain, its arm in the mainland market.

According to sources at two agencies that received Monster’s brief, the company is looking for an agency that will promote the online classifieds website across China. Sources add that presentations have not begun but the company is looking to name an agency by May or June.

A source at BBDO said that the agency is globally aligned with Monster.com but BBDO has not worked with the company in China because the relationship does not extend to ChinaHR.

According to Monster.com, the company operates in 42 global markets including China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, India, Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam in Asia.
