The 'Men/Women' thematic television spot uses animation that was originally developed in the US, but adapted with background shots of Hong Kong's financial district. This is the first time that the brand has filmed part of a TVC on location in Hong Kong.
The green chocolate range is targeted at the 15 to 24-year segment, with the TVC positioning the treat as "irresistible and fun", according to Effem Foods Hong Kong and China snack food brand manager, Eddy Liem.
The D'Arcy-developed campaign shows an M&M green chocolate attracting hungry stares as it struts down a busy Hong Kong street. Point-of-sales and PR activities will be organised to support the television campaign.
