Ministry of Education recruits Up BrandBuzz and Maxus

SINGAPORE - The Ministry of Education (MOE) of Singapore has handed its S$2 million (US$1.5 million) recruitment campaign for teachers to local shop Up BrandBuzz and Maxus following a government tender.

Up BrandBuzz will handle creative, while Maxus will oversee media for a through-the-line campaign that will break in the third quarter of this year, focusing on the impact a teacher makes beyond the classroom.

This is a massive win for Up and Maxus and we are very pleased that the big team effort paid off. MOE is a demanding but fair client who wants to shake up the perception of teachers and teaching both locally and internationally, said Anand Vathiyar, managing director of Up BrandBuzz.

Sony Wong, the newly promoted MD of Maxus and MindShare Singapore, added: "We are proud to have been chosen by the ministry in its endeavours to shape the nation's education system and future."
