Mindshare's Anita Munro promoted to Asia-Pacific head of tactical planning

ASIA-PACIFIC - Group M agency Mindshare has promoted Anita Munro to regional head of tactical planning from her previous role as planner/buyer and exchange director at Mindshare Sydney. Munro has moved to Hong Kong to take up her new role.

Munro is tasked with leading Mindshare’s tactical planning offering for Mindshare clients as well as all end-to-end client media investment practices. She will report to Nick Bunns, head of trading for Mindshare Asia. 

Munro comes with more than a decade of experience in media and has led implementation solutions for key clients including Volvo, Land Rover, Jaguar, ING Direct and Diageo. 

Commenting on Munro's appointment, Binns said, "Munro will trailblaze our multimedia value offering and drive to active engagement platforms, whilst also enforcing ‘original thinking’ at the crux of our trading solutions.”

He added that the appointment is part of an ongoing initiative to strengthen the agency's trading, value and implementation offering, attracting the best of the best globally into Asia. "Mindshare is heavily investing in bringing the best possible trading talent to the region,” said Binns.
