MindShare Singapore boosts digital team

SINGAPORE - MindShare has hired ex-Starcom digital staffers Lee Yew Leong and Benjamin Yeow to run its digital operation.

Lee joins as director, MindShare Interaction, and Yeow as the unit's associate director. Both will report to MindShare Singapore CEO Jeffrey Seah, who is six months into the role after joining from Starcom last year (Media, 9 November).

"Ben and Yew Leong are folks I have trying to groom for years,” Seah said. “They are multi-specialists who are not afraid of change. My plan is for them to inject digital thinking into everyone in the agency, and by the end of the year I want fifty communications specialists who are perfectly capable of recommending digital to our clients."

The Interaction team will be split to manage conflicting business. Lee will handle clients including Samsung and DBS, while Yeow will oversee a portfolio housing the likes of Motorola and HSBC.
