Aguilar had joined Mindshare in 2007 from WPP sister creative agency Ogilvy & Mather in the new role of general manager.
A Mindshare spokesperson confirmed the news saying that a replacement will be announced shortly.
Prior to joining Mindshare Aguilar was the client service director of Ogilvy & Mather. He has also worked at Lowe and Leo Burnett on accounts such as Unilever, Procter & Gamble, Kraft, Motorola, Nike and Nestle.
