MindShare chief Waters departs for EMEA

MindShare Asia-Pacific CEO Nick Waters is to depart the region to take charge of MindShare EMEA. <BR><BR> He is succeeded by Ashutosh Srivastava, currently CEO of GroupM South Asia, who will relocate to Singapore. <BR><BR> Waters (pictured) took on the regional CEO role in 2005, after GroupM restructured its leadership portfolio and reporting lines (Media, November 17 2005). Prior to this, he was MindShare CEO of Southeast Asia, after arriving in the region from MindShare London in 2001. <BR><BR> Srivastava helped to establish MindShare in South Asia in early 2002, serving as India MD until 2004, when he was named CEO of GroupM South Asia. <BR><BR> "We are looking forward to the same high level of enthusiasm, drive and innovation that he brought to the business in South Asia," said GroupM regional CEO John Steedman. <BR><BR> In India, Vikram Sakhuja now takes on the role of GroupM South Asia COO, from a previous position of MindShare South Asia MD.
