Stephanie Bell, Manila managing director, has been named business director of BroadMind Asia-Pacific and investment director for Thailand. The agency has also hired David Porter, a former director with MediaCom in London, as managing partner in Thailand. Nick Waters, CEO of MindShare Southeast Asia, said: "We needed to restructure some responsibilities within our Thailand office to bring maximum advantage to bear on behalf of all clients based on this unprecedented scale," he said.
Waters said Bell's experience in buying and selling would be brought to bear on the approximately US$200 million business she will manage in her role. Porter brings more 20 years' experience to his new role, having recently worked on Masterfoods.
The reshuffle also includes Mitos Borromeo, who becomes MD of MindShare Manila; Roopa Dhawan, who moves to Vietnam as business director for Heineken and Tiger; Julien Newby, who moves to Vietnam from London as managing partner for Unilever; and Jonathan Chadwick, who moves to Singapore as regional business director for Unilever, Pepsi and Kimberly Clarke.
