Yap said: "These are people we feel will fit into the new culture of Milk+Co. They are, of course, very talented in their respective fields. But just as important is that they take a collaborative approach to their work."
He added: "Awards will be important to the agency as we progress - but with real work. We don't want empty fame."
Milk+Co became the new name for DDB International last week, when the agency ushered in a fresh positioning. The 'Milk' in the name positions the agency as a nurturer of brands, while the '+Co' represents the agency's collaborative nature, Estavillo explained.
DDB International has long been overshadowed by its larger sister agency Naga DDB. Estavillo joined in September with a brief to revive the agency's fortunes following the departure of long-time CEO Florence Loh.
