BANGKOK The Thai capital's hotel scene has been given a chic injection with the soft opening of the trendy Metropolitan hotel.
The sister property to London's ultra-fashionable Metropolitan hotel, whose world-famous Met Bar is a playground for the rich and famous, opened its doors on October 28.
Bangkok's Met Bar is a members-only night bar also open to hotel guests.
Ms Debby Thio, director of marketing for the 174-room Metropolitan Bangkok, said the hotel would target incentive groups from the conference, exhibition and incentive (CEI) sector.
'We would definitely like to work with smaller incentives, in the area of 20 rooms per night,' Ms Thio said..
