MediaTV: Sorrell on Asia

In the third instalment of Media's exclusive interview with Sir Martin Sorrell, the WPP chief executive discusses the issue of corruption in Asia and what the next 12 months hold for the region.

In the interview, sponsored by The Economist and conducted by Media’s editor-in-chief Atifa Hargrave-Silk, Sorrell argues that WPP has had to take a hard line on corruption due its status as a listed company. Describing the situation across the region as "variable", he argues: "Rules are becoming more transparent and that’s ultimately to the benefit of clients."

Meanwhile, he predicts growth for WPP in several key Asian markets and reveals the extent of the holding group’s digital assets in the region.

Stay tuned for the next instalment of the interview, to be released on 18 May, in which Sorrell discusses the state of the global media market.
