MediaCorp beefs up with executive level promotions

SINGAPORE: MediaCorp has revamped its senior management line-up as it looks to bolster its news offering across its various media platforms and brands.

Shaun Seow, chief executive officer of MediaCorp News, has been promoted to group managing director in charge of MediaCorp News, MediaCorp TV12 and group communications. He will oversee the news function of the group, covering TV, radio and newspapers. He remains a director and editorial advisor of MediaCorp Press.

Woon Tai Ho, CEO of MediaCorp TV12, has been transferred to MediaCorp News as CEO. He will be responsible for driving content strategies in the areas of news, documentaries and info-educational content for the global market.

Philip Koh, acting chief executive officer, has been confirmed as CEO of MediaCorp Publishing. He concurrently holds the post of executive director of MediaCorp Press.

James Yip, acting CEO, has been confirmed as CEO of MediaCorp Radio.

Alice Tan, senior vice-president of network programming and promotions MediaCorp TV Channel 5, has been promoted to CEO of MediaCorp TV12. She will be responsible for driving content strategy in the area of Malay/Indonesian content production for the regional market.
