Showcasing creative works from the first Asian Outdoor Advertising
Awards organised by MEDIA, the Shanghai and Beijing Media Mixers drew
more than 800 people from approximately 200 media, advertising companies
and associations.

highlighted award-winning outdoor advertising campaigns from the MEDIA
Asian Outdoor Advertising Awards 2000 in Beijing and Shanghai.
Outdoor advertising has become the most popular medium after television
in China, as well as in the Asia-Pacific region, where annual adspend
saw 30 per cent growth in a year.
Top Result chief executive officer Kam Ling said the Media Mixers aimed
to offer the industry in China a chance to meet on a regular basis.
He added the events would be ongoing, with the next party scheduled for
some time in the next six months.
Mr Kam said he hoped other media owners, advertising agencies and
communications companies could work together to expand the role of the
Media Mixers to get industry people together for bonding and discussion.
