<p>Top Result Promotion sponsored and organised the inaugural </p><p>industrial get-together function, Media Mixer, in Beijing and Shanghai </p><p>on September 1 and 4 respectively . </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Showcasing creative works from the first Asian Outdoor Advertising </p><p>Awards organised by MEDIA, the Shanghai and Beijing Media Mixers drew </p><p>more than 800 people from approximately 200 media, advertising companies </p><p>and associations. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Ogilvy & Mather Greater China executive creative director CC Tang and J </p><p>Walter Thompson China executive creative director Lo Sheung Yan </p><p>highlighted award-winning outdoor advertising campaigns from the MEDIA </p><p>Asian Outdoor Advertising Awards 2000 in Beijing and Shanghai. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Outdoor advertising has become the most popular medium after television </p><p>in China, as well as in the Asia-Pacific region, where annual adspend </p><p>saw 30 per cent growth in a year. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Top Result chief executive officer Kam Ling said the Media Mixers aimed </p><p>to offer the industry in China a chance to meet on a regular basis. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>He added the events would be ongoing, with the next party scheduled for </p><p>some time in the next six months. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Mr Kam said he hoped other media owners, advertising agencies and </p><p>communications companies could work together to expand the role of the </p><p>Media Mixers to get industry people together for bonding and discussion. </p><p><BR><BR> </p>
