MEDIA-I: Ogilvy's Kremer bullish on Thai dotcom sector

<p>BANGKOK: While the dotcom bubble may have burst, Marc Kremer, </p><p>recently-appointed managing partner for OgilvyInteractive Thailand, is </p><p>optimistic about Thailand's interactive sector. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>He joined the 10-person Bangkok office from OgilvyInteractive Japan. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Despite the slowing markets overseas, Kremer said he is bullish on </p><p>Thailand's interactive sector. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>"I would characterise it as almost a start-up stage here, in that it's </p><p>still in its infancy relative to other markets. There are a lot of </p><p>opportunities for us here," he said. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Success lies in delivering on Ogilvy's strengths, Kremer explained. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>"Clients across the board are looking at ROI, and that is where we </p><p>excel. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>At Ogilvy, we are focused on results and business, delivering marketing </p><p>solutions rather than just building web sites. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>"Our core strength is our deep knowledge of our customers, thanks to our </p><p>strong integration within the agency. We have extensive experience </p><p>building brands and we bring that to the web. The slowdown in the US and </p><p>Japan will definitely have some impact, but as for that will be exactly, </p><p>I can't say yet". </p><p><BR><BR> </p>
