HONG KONG: MSN has launched a range of online events and
promotional downloads for Asian violin virtuoso Vanessa Mae in
collaboration with EMI Music Asia.
The full-scale promotional campaign supports the launch of the
violinist's new album and upcoming visit to Asia.
The campaign includes downloads of Destiny, a re-mix of a new track from
her album not available on CD, and a full-length streaming preview of
the video.
MSN will also offer Vanessa Mae screensavers and wallpapers, exclusive
webcasts of her recent performances, indepth interviews, online contests
and giveaways, newsletters and invitations to MSN users to send the
artist emails through her account at vanessamaemusic@hotmail.com.
The portal also intends to hold a region-wide chat in Chinese, English
and Korean.
The campaign is expected to reach 237 million consumers.
