SYDNEY: Engage has partnered with Australian advertising, content

and e-business solutions company Pacific Access to form a new

advertising business.

Pacific Access will be the exclusive reseller of and will manage Engage

Media products and services in Australia, including Engage's online

media advertising network, online media management and campaign

analysis.

Engage Australia will continue to market and manage its software

division in Australia.

Pacific Access CEO, Andrew Day, said, "While traditionally Pacific

Access has focussed mainly on the Australian small- to medium-sized

(SME) market, this deal allows us to broaden into greater corporate

opportunities ... allowing us to target big business more aggressively,

expanding our customer base and the internet reach we provide our

customers.

He added that Pacific Access would extend its Yellow Pages print

directory online, allowing customers to complement their existing print

advertising.

"We have a short term aim, to be realised over the next two to three

years, of owning 15 to 20 per cent of Australia's online advertising

market share, and this agreement will certainly help us move forward

aggressively towards achieving this."
