MEDIA-I: China Times in online alliance with OgilvyOne

<p>TAIPEI: Ogilvy & Mather Taiwan has partnered with ChinaTimes.com, </p><p>the internet flagship of China Times Group, to develop and integrate the </p><p>company's interactive marketing business. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>OgilvyOne will provide consulting services in customer relationship </p><p>management, database marketing management, Teledirect marketing system </p><p>solutions and professional direct marketing training to the staff of </p><p>ChinaTimes.com. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>The content site will initially support OgilvyOne's Teledirect business, </p><p>and will be extended to other business areas. The agreement expands </p><p>telemarketing opportunities for Ogilvy & Mather and OgilvyOne. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>"It's the first strategic alliance for O&M in Taiwan," O&M Greater China </p><p>chairman, T.B. Song, said. "The goal of this co-operation is to develop </p><p>the largest telemarketing and database-marketing centre by combining and </p><p>sharing resources held by ChinaTimes.com and Ogilvy. We are also looking </p><p>at the Greater China telemarketing market in the future." </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>ChinaTimes.com's chief executive officer and chairman, Cheng Chia Chung, </p><p>added: "In fact, we have fulfilment experience in news and advertisement </p><p>services, event and PR activities, telemarketing, direct marketing and </p><p>distribution fields, after 50 years of operation." </p><p><BR><BR> </p>
