MEDIA: FourFourTwo set to launch in July in HK and China

HONG KONG: Haymarket Magazines has signed a licensing agreement with Hong Kong-based publisher ACIG Media for the publication of simplified and traditional Chinese editions of FourFourTwo, the UK's market-leading, monthly soccer magazine.

The three-year deal will see two monthly, 80-page, Chinese-language editions launch in July. The simplified Chinese edition will be aimed at China and the traditional version at Hong Kong. They will have an initial print run of 100,000 and 20,000 respectively.

Edward Marr, Haymarket Worldwide publishing manager, said: "The launch of FourFourTwo in China and Hong Kong brings the total of Haymarket titles licensed in Asia-Pacific to 15."

Haymarket Magazines is part of Haymarket Group, the UK's largest, independently-owned publisher, while ACIG is the Greater China publisher of United, the official magazine of Manchester United
