Media executives team up to set up marketing shop

HONG KONG: Two former media executives, Michael Denmark and Jasper Donat, have joined forces to open a new marketing communications agency, Branded.

The company has three units: representation for media owners in the region, creating multimedia marketing content with partners such as Siren Films and international record labels; and consultancy.

Branded debuts with a handful of clients including Metro International, which will soon be launching a free newspaper on the MTR, two international music labels and an artist management company in the UK, according to Donat, who spent six years at Star and Channel V.

Denmark, who was previously sales and marketing director of the Hong Kong i-Mail prior to its repositioning as a business title, said Branded had a staff of seven people, along with a number of freelancers working on projects.
