MPG, Media Contacts' sister agency, won the US$30 million Indonesian Danone business in April, which will serve as the new agency's backbone client.
Media Contacts Indonesia will initially be staffed by three people.
Meanwhile, MC has hired Numjai Lurngnateetap and Ullas Sahadevan as country directors for the Thailand and Malaysia operations, respectively. Lurngnateetap joins from Dentsu Interactive in Bangkok while Sahadevan joins from Pinstorm Malaysia.
In Singapore, MC has recruited Gaurav Gupta from Euro RSCG India assenior consultant, digital. He replaces Rochelle Lobo, who left to join OMD as regional digital planning manager last month.

JAKARTA - Media Contacts, the Havas digital network, is planning to launch a full-service digital advertising agency in Indonesia on the back of its recent Danone win.
