With literacy rates of over 85 per cent in the world's most populous country and an emerging middle class hungry for information, China is already one of the largest print markets in the world. The print advertising feast is a substantial one and high levels of adult readership will continue to make the newspaper medium a valuable tool for the biggest advertisers in the sector, including real estate, retail and pharmaceuticals.
