Grant Advertising is beefing up its creative clout with the hiring
of former Euro RSCG award-winning creative director Titania Yuen to
lead the team.
Previously serving Grant in a project-based consultant role, Ms Yuen has
now taken the position of executive creative director.
Creative director Bill Chan has resigned to join J. Walter Thompson in
Shanghai.
Established in 1998 as a subsidiary of Bozell with the focus on serving
promotion and retail based account, Grant has grown into a full service
agency, with total billings of HK$200 million.
"We're pitching new business positioning ourselves as a truly
independent agency," said Grant MD Dionne Kung.
As an independent advertising agency with 25 staff on board, Ms Kung
said there was much business potential in the marketplace serving local
clients who favour close personal contact.
Efficiency is the niche of this type of small boutique agency; Ms Kung
said local clients feel more comfortable working with agencies with
simplified structures.
"They need quick reactions in the marketplace," she said.
