MEDIA CAREERS: Yuen to head new creative team at Grant Advertising
<p>Grant Advertising is beefing up its creative clout with the hiring </p><p>of former Euro RSCG award-winning creative director Titania Yuen to </p><p>lead the team. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Previously serving Grant in a project-based consultant role, Ms Yuen has </p><p>now taken the position of executive creative director. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Creative director Bill Chan has resigned to join J. Walter Thompson in </p><p>Shanghai. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Established in 1998 as a subsidiary of Bozell with the focus on serving </p><p>promotion and retail based account, Grant has grown into a full service </p><p>agency, with total billings of HK$200 million. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>"We're pitching new business positioning ourselves as a truly </p><p>independent agency," said Grant MD Dionne Kung. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>As an independent advertising agency with 25 staff on board, Ms Kung </p><p>said there was much business potential in the marketplace serving local </p><p>clients who favour close personal contact. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Efficiency is the niche of this type of small boutique agency; Ms Kung </p><p>said local clients feel more comfortable working with agencies with </p><p>simplified structures. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>"They need quick reactions in the marketplace," she said. </p><p><BR><BR> </p>
