MEDIA CAREERS: Kam named CEO of Metro Broadcast HK
<p>Stepping into the shoes of Mr Carl Chang, who has moved on to </p><p>Tom.com, Mr Kam Kwok Leung has taken over as CEO of Metro Broadcast </p><p>Corporation in Hong Kong. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>After extensive stints in the broadcasting industry, which included </p><p>being GM of Star TV's Chinese channel from 1991, Mr Kam joined Metro </p><p>Broadcast in 1998 as a principal consultant. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Mr Raymond Leung has been hired to work with Ms Angela Pih at Dentsu </p><p>Young & Rubicam, in the role of associate director, business </p><p>development. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Making the leap into the advertising world from his former director of </p><p>marketing post at The Kerry Centre Hotel in Beijing, Mr Leung is </p><p>handling regional projects from DY&R's Hong Kong office. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Texon Media has appointed Mr Teren Lai as sales director. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Texon chief executive Shirley Dirkin said the appointment was part of a </p><p>drive to increase Texon's panel network in Hong Kong from 2,000 to 4,000 </p><p>by year end. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Prior to his hire at Texon, Mr Lai was assistant general manager of In </p><p>Express Media. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>The international interactive sales division at Turner International </p><p>Asia-Pacific has appointed Ms Holly Heritage in the newly-created role </p><p>of regional sales director. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Turner Asia-Pacific senior VP, ad sales, Dave Dickman said Ms Heritage's </p><p>hire was the result of the increased growth of the Internet business, </p><p>warranting the expansion of Turner's interactive sales division in </p><p>Asia-Pacific. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Prior to joining Turner International, she was head of interactive </p><p>advertising sales at the Far Eastern Economic Review. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>AdForce Inc has appointed Mr David Ho as managing director for the </p><p>firm's Asian arm, AdForce Asia. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Delivering Internet advertising to the region, Mr Ho's role will include </p><p>overseeing the company's development and business operations in China, </p><p>Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Before his hire, Mr Ho served as vice-president of operations for iMagic </p><p>Infomedia Technology, overseeing worldwide business operations. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>He reports directly to AdForce CEO Chuck Berger. </p><p><BR><BR> </p>
