AutoAsia, targeting senior executives at auto manufacturers, suppliers and related services companies, aims to put into context developments in the fast-changing industry.
Publishing director Stephen Fisher said there wasn't a publication of this type in the region but believed the timing was right because the auto market has recovered to the level prior to the 1997 financial crisis, China's entry into the WTO and a flurry of trade agreements among Asian countries.
He also said that prospects for the industry were strong. "Asia produces more vehicles than any other region, it is fast growing and it is forecast to account for more than half of global demand growth in vehicle sales over the next 25 years."
