The Japan assignment sees MEC take the US$5 million DHL account, previously handled by DY&R. Meanwhile, in India MEC displaces incumbent The Media Edge for the US$3 million business. The wins solidify MEC’s grip on the business in Asia-Pacific, after winning the US$12 million China business in late 2006.
Only the Indochina markets now currently remain outside of MEC’s regional DHL alignment. The agency also handles DHL in the US and Eastern Europe.
