Meaden named as MindShare North Asia CEO

BEIJING - MindShare China CEO Andrew Meaden (pictured) has been promoted to the role of North Asia CEO, in the first sign of management restructuring since the GroupM agency announced it was overhauling its global business model (Media, 17 April).

Meaden will report directly to MindShare Asia-Pacific CEO Ashutosh Srivastava and will retain his China leadership role in the near future. Meaden becomes North Asia CEO approximately 18 months since being named China CEO, during which period he has overseen the wins of Disney, Maybelline and Volvo.

“Andrew has catapulted MindShare to the leading agency in China, with a clear vision, and focus on growth and diversification of our talent and service offering” said Srivastava.

“Andrew will now help to start the transition in North Asia, as we begin the most significant change in our young agency’s 10 year history - the repositioning of MindShare as the new-age full service agency.”
