NTCB manager Lynn Fairbrass said: "This lucrative
event that will attract up to 600 meeting and events professionals to Central Australia."
She added: "The MEA conference in 2008 will be
invaluable for meeting planners and decision makers to gain first-hand experience of Alice
Springs and other renowned Territory regions."
The programme will include a tour of the new Darwin Convention Centre and Uluru (Ayers Rock) for qualified meeting planners.
