McDonald leaves Revlon for regional Ogilvy role

HONG KONG - Ex-Revlon regional senior marketing director Marion McDonald (pictured) is moving to Ogilvy PR as Asia-Pacific regional director of strategy and planning at the end of March.

Her key task will be leading internal training for the creative team, and to drive strategic planning for regional clients.

During an eight-year career in the beauty care industry, McDonald has worked at P&G, Reckitt Benckiser and Allergan prior to Revlon.

"The position is one of the absolute hardest to fill. It is a combination of social anthropologist, multi-discipline expert, coach, teacher, pitch leader and creator of big ideas. We finally found this combination in Marion who has great experience in marketing - and is a professional caliber singer and actor who has lived in Japan and China and performs in Hong Kong,” said Christopher Graves, president and CEO of Ogilvy PR in Asia Pacific. McDonald will report directly to Graves.
