McCracken departs Grey

ASIA-PACIFIC - Grey chairman and CEO Asia-Pacific Mike Amour has announced the set up of a regional creative council, following the departure of regional ECD Todd McCracken.

McCracken is leaving the agency to pursue personal business interests. The regional ECD role will not be filled immediately, noted Amour, adding that he would lead the new council.

The council will also consist of Prathap Suthan from South Asia; Raj Kurup from India; Justin Lim from Singapore; Ant Shannon from Australia; Yue Chee Guan from China; Kanji Miyagawa from Japan; Keith Ho from Hong Kong and Jeremy Powell from G2 Japan. In addition to his role as lead creative on Grey’s regional P&G business, Jeff Orr will work with Amour to facilitate the development and ongoing work of the council.

“Todd is leaving us to pursue business opportunities as a property investor,” said Amour.

“It is a difficult regional job unless you are connected to a key client or have a higher balance of international clients rather than local. It is now up to the people in our region to step up and set the right agenda.”
