McCann Singapore nabs BBDO creatives

SINGAPORE - McCann Erickson Singapore has poached creatives Liong Khoon Kiat and Parixit Bhattacharya from BBDO Singapore to work on KFC, an account it won from the Omnicom agency in October.

The duo will reunite with ECD Farrokh Madon (pictured) and associate CD Goh Wee Kim, who moved to McCann from BBDO in the summer (Media, 10 July). The move of Liong, an art director, is effective immediately while senior copywriter Bhattacharya will begin in January.

Both creatives worked on KFC during their tenure at BBDO before McCann won the business following a creative review (Media, 18 Oct).

“Both Parixit and KK bring with them brand knowledge of KFC, which will give the account some much needed continuity,” said Madon. “But they will also be working on other accounts to stay fresh.”
