McCann Singapore brings in new planner

McCann-Erickson has hired Mohamed Salim to join the agency's planning department in Singapore.<br><br> Salim will relocate from the US, where he worked at Chicago Forex, and will report to McCann strategic planning director Subodh Deshpande (pictured). Whilst in the US, Salim also studied at the Virginia Commonwealth University's Adcenter.<br><br> At McCann he will work across both regional and local clients, including UPS, MasterCard and Johnson & Johnson. "We are trying to look at brands through two things," said Deshpande. "The Demand Chain process and also integrating a cultural understanding of brands and looking at societal trends."
