The outcome indicates that sister PR agency GolinHarris will be integrated into Lowe Worldwide, and points to staff redundancies at the 30-person Weber Shandwick operation. "These will be in the single figures and, for the most part, will be in terms of back office," said Weber Shandwick regional president Andrew Pirie, who also confirmed the departure of VP Pensri Tasnavites.
Pirie said GolinHarris executive director Peter McIntosh's status was "still being sorted through".
"We don't have the critical mass to run a back office to the level required by IPG," said Pirie. "The conclusion was to share resources with another IPG company."
