M&C Saatchi loses KFC in Hong Kong

HONG KONG - KFC has shifted its creative account from M&C Saatchi to Ogilvy Group's David Communications without a pitch.

David’s first initiative for the Yum Foods-owned fast food chain in Hong Kong is expected to launch in the new year.

The shift coincides with news that KFC will initiate a creative review in Malaysia, where BBDO is the incumbent, in January, according to sources.

October saw BBDO lose the KFC business in Singapore, an account it held for 4 years, to McCann Erickson.
