The agency landed the US$2.5 million business after a three-way pitch - called in September - with undisclosed agencies, and replaces local incumbent Arms Communications. M&C has a brief to advertise Vipul’s two divisions, Vipul Facility Management and Vipul Laing O’Rourke, using primarily print and outdoor.
Although Vipul Real Estate has advertised in the past, the assignment marks an advertising debut for Vipul Facility Management and Vipul Laing O’Rourke. Anoop Saxena, Vipul Group’s head of advertising and PR, said: “We are a young group which is eager to deliver and meet results.
As a company, our pedigree is that of meeting our commitments and deadline. We want to have this aspect reflected in our communications.”
Saxena added that the company has plans to expand to cities including Ludhiana, Mohali, Amritsar, Nagpur, Kolkata and Bhubaneshwar.
The win comes shortly after M&C won the creative business for JetLite, formerly Sahara Airlines. Jet Airways acquired Sahara last January to become India’s largest airline.
