Mazda poised to retain DMG

BEIJING - Mazda China is poised to retain DMG shop D3 to handle its M2 and M3 marques, following a pitch that included JWT, Publicis, Shunya and Hakuhodo (Media, 13 August).

The development marks a consolidation, with D3 already handling the M6 and M3 models. It is believed that Mazda selected D3 from a final shortlist that included Publicis.

The M3 and yet-to-launch M2 have shifted their sales and marketing from Mazda’s joint venture with FAW to a new company formed with Ford joint venture partner, Changan.
