Maybank Fortis selects Lowe

KUALA LUMPUR - Maybank Fortis has awarded its advertising account to Lowe & Partners with a brief to create a brand for the newly-formed insurance company.

Lowe triumphed after a four-way final round of pitching involving Leo Burnett, M&C Saatchi and BatesAsia.

The brief will be to introduce the Maybank Fortis brand, which was formed from the merger of three companies in 2005.

Grey, Dentsu and Y&R missed out after the first round. The advertiser paid the pitch fee of RM10,000 (US$2,900) as required by the Malaysian 4As for advertisers with billings of more than RM500,000.
