Maxus wins Jetstar in Australia

SYDNEY - Jetstar has appointed Maxus to handle its media planning and buying account in Australia.

The account, worth US$30 million, was won following a five-way pitch in January that included incumbent ZenithOptimedia.

Maxus will hold the contract for two years, starting in July, with the possibility to extend it.

Jetstar, the discount carrier of Qantas, uses Carat Asia-Pacific as its media agency in the region outside of Australia. That account is based out of Singapore.
