Maxus India names Varghese chief
Madison Media and Madison Infinity chief Ajit Varghese has been named managing director of Maxus India, effective from early November. <BR><BR> Varghese replaces CVL Srinivas (pictured), who resigned as Asia-Pacific CEO and head of Maxus India just six months after accepting the regional posting with the GroupM agency (Media Online, 25 September). Varghese began his career with IMRB, then moving onto Lintas, before joining Madison in 1999. <BR><BR> He has previously worked across a number of brands, including Coca-Cola, McDonald's, Marico and Tata Tea.
