Maxus confirms L’Oréal Malaysia win

KUALA LUMPUR - Maxus has confirmed its win of the L’Oréal account in Malaysia.

L'Oreal has handed its media business to Maxus in Malaysia

The business is believed to be worth between US$10 million and US$12 million.

Neil Stewart, CEO of Maxus Asia-Pacific, told Campaign the win helps to further cement the agency's business with L'Oreal. Group M agencies now hold the L'Oreal business in China, India, Indonesia, and Thailand. A decision on a pitch in Vietnam is expected soon.

"We've now got the lion's share of L’Oréal in Asia-Pacific," Stewart said.

Speaking specifically on the Malaysia win, he said, "We're delighted to have the opportunity to work with them there. L’Oréal are a great company with fantastic brands."

Stephanie Bell, regional media director for L’Oréal in Southeast Asia, India and the Pacific, told Campaign she was not able to comment on the win at this time.
