Maxis field narrows to four

KUALA LUMPUR - The RM200 million (US$60 million) creative review for Maxis, Malaysia's largest advertiser, has narrowed to a final shootout between four agencies.

Following a second round of presentations, BBDO is expected to defend its hold on Maxis’ prepaid brand Hotlink against Grey, while Ogilvy, which handles the company's post-paid brand, will contest that account with Y&R.

It is unclear how Maxis’ B2B business, currently handled by Leo Burnett, will be aligned, but it appears that no more than two agencies will remain on the Maxis roster.
