Globally, UM already works with the brand in markets including the US, Japan and Australia.
Tempur spokesperson Eujin Che said that UM was appointed because it is a flexible agency capable of working swiftly. "We are entering a period of heightened investment in our marketing as Tempur becomes the world's favorite mattress and pillow company and as such we believe UM will be a highly effective partner for Tempur."
Sung-won Gong, managing director, UM Korea, said the agency was excited to extend its remit to include South Korea.
