MasterCard revamps Moments privilege benefits site

SINGAPORE - MasterCard has rolled out a revamped site for its premium benefits programme - MasterCard Moments.

The revamped website features improved site navigation, better visuals and smart features including a wish list function for cardholders to send benefits and programs to each other.

Premium benefits found on the site include tie-ups with Banyan Tree Bintan resort, helicopter tours over the Angkor Wat and golfing packages at Cape Kidnappers in New Zealand.

First launched in English, the website will feature Chinese and Japanese languages in the coming months to reach cardholders across Asia-Pacific.

Natalie Lockwood, group head of regional marketing for MasterCard Worldwide, said, “Consumers across the region are researching and shopping more online, and searching for unique products and experiences.”

“We have done extensive research to better cater to the lifestyle needs of our cardholders, to offer them easy access to a range of exclusive and unique offers.”

According to MasterCard’s Insights Report, Asia-Pacific’s online shopping population is expected to hit 819.4 million by 2010.

Online shoppers in the region also spent an average of US$612.40 online over a period of three months with Singaporeans ($770.70) and South Koreans ($707.50) emerging as top spenders.
